Founded by Bianca Célestin, a licensed senior mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience, Valentina was built on a simple principle: clients deserve a trusted advocate throughout the construction process.

Our Story
The firm is named in honor of Bianca’s mother: Valentina, a name that represents strength, resilience, and care.
The company’s logo incorporates Ayizan’s Vévé, a symbol rooted in Haitian culture representing commerce, wisdom, and leadership, reflecting both heritage and purpose.
Leadership
Bianca Célestin, PE, Founder & CEO
Bianca Célestin is a licensed mechanical engineer and seasoned project manager with over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Her expertise spans building systems design, MEP project management, and the successful delivery of complex capital projects.
Born to Haitian immigrants in Montreal, Bianca earned her Bachelor of Engineering from Concordia University before beginning her career in San Francisco. She is now based in New York City, where she leads Valentina Client Representation with a focus on delivering projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client goals.
Her specialties include sustainable design, electrification projects, and leading multidisciplinary teams through complex project environments.
Beyond her professional work, Bianca is deeply connected to her cultural and creative passions. She is a member of Batalá New York, an all-women, Black-led percussion group, and actively participates in dance rooted in the African diaspora.
She is also the author of Teddy’s Great New York City Adventure and serves as a board member of the Haitian Women’s Alliance.
